Coarse screening & pre-screening
We produce high-performance screening machines with very precise screen cuts for fertilizer production and the manufacture of fertilizer granulates.
We would be happy to advise you on the optimal design for your fertilizer screening machine.
Suitable for the following types and varieties of fertilizer
Typical examples of applications for our fertilizer screening machines are the following types of fertilizer and fertilizer types:
We would be happy to advise you on which screening technology is best suited for your types of fertilizer.
You can also use our SPALECK TestCenter, where we can screen and classify your fertilizers together.

More InformationClassification of the fertilizer
As a manufacturer of screening machines, we build machines tailored to your application. It is usually possible to enable pre-planned product changes of the granulate sizes by adapting the screening machine.
One example of this is a flip-flow screening machine. Their screen mats can be quickly adjusted when the batch is changed.
For example, fertilizer granules with a grain size of 0-3 mm and 3-8 mm can be sieved in one batch. With a different type of fertilizer, for example, 0-2 mm, 2-6 mm and 6-9 mm. In this case, the sieve mats are simply changed accordingly. You can find a video showing how this works at www.spaleck.de/videos.
Scalable production quantities
Our fertilizer screening machines are often designed for a high tonnage. The material is usually very demanding. It can be sticky, moist and also abrasive. Typical processing quantities are 100t/h or even 150t/h. Of course, we also realize smaller or larger machines with our plant engineering.
Application example: Lime fertilizer
With SPALECK screening technology, the precise removal of unwanted fine dust and oversized particles from mineral lime fertilizers is a breeze. In this case, a flip-flow screen was used to maximize the quality of the end product.
Fertilizers have become an integral part of modern agriculture. At the same time, environmental protection must be taken into account. For example, over-fertilization must not occur.
This is why modern technology is used in fertilizer production. Only with their help is it possible to produce high-quality fertilizer economically.
Here at SPALECK, we partner with many leading fertilizer manufacturers and work with them to develop reliable and highly selective screening technology.
