Your Apprenticeship at SPALECK
Do you want to build more than just anything—you want to build machines that make a difference worldwide? As a trainee industrial mechanic at SPALECK, you’ll play a direct role in manufacturing highly complex screening machines for the international recycling industry. With us, theory immediately becomes practice: You’ll assemble systems that ensure recyclable materials stay in the cycle all around the globe.
As an industrial mechanic, you manufacture components and assemblies that are then assembled into a complete machine. You monitor the production process and continuously optimize it. You then maintain the finished machines and repair them as needed.
Here’s what you can expect during your training
To assemble our world-leading Screening technology, you’ll first learn about the materials and how to read blueprints. During your apprenticeship at SPALECK in Bocholt, you’ll learn everything from tapping threads and installing bearings to the complete assembly of our screening machines. You’ll then inspect and measure the machines before commissioning them at our international customers’ sites.
If you combine manual dexterity with an interest in technology and enjoy working on machines that really have to work in the end, you’ll be a perfect fit for our team.
If you have any questions about jobs, training, internships or studies, our colleagues in Human Resources will be happy to help you.
You will alternate between the company (practice) and vocational school (theory). In the early days, you will also spend a lot of time in our training workshop to perfect the basics of the trade (filing, sawing, drilling) in peace and quiet before moving on to the big machines.
You work on machines that make the world cleaner. As an industrial mechanic with us, you will build screening machines for the international recycling industry, for example. So you will see directly how your work contributes to environmental technology.
