Winterswijk business association OWIN visits Spaleck Group
Van harte welkom bij Spaleck!
Bocholt, February 03, 2016
Around 40 members of the OWIN business association from neighboring Winterswijk visited the Spaleck Group in Bocholt on Wednesday evening. The focus was on getting to know each other and the shared idea of further expanding cross-border business relations. Carsten Sühling, Managing Director of Spaleck Holding GmbH & Co. KG, welcomed the guests from the Netherlands with a well-practiced “Van harte welkom bij Spaleck!”.
As the evening was organized solely thanks to the joint initiative of OWIN, Achterhoeks Centrum voor Technologie (ATC), Wirtschaftsförderung Bocholt and employees of the Spaleck Group, Carsten Sühling began by thanking the initiators Marlies Joldersma and Jos Bongers (both OWIN), Martin Stor from ACT as well as Ludger Dieckhues and Wendelin Knuf (both WiFö BOH) and Jan Bruins and Michael Wiesmann (both Spaleck Group).
In a very neighborly atmosphere, the discussions showed that there are numerous points of contact for future cooperation between Dutch and German companies in the border region with the business divisions of the Spaleck Group alone.
Whether supplier parts, screening technology or the environmental technology of our subsidiaries NovoChem GmbH and Dauborn MembranSysteme GmbH – the right contacts were quickly found.
As the evening drew to a pleasant close with a shared “Borrel” (Dutch for drink), one thing was clear: a follow-up visit by Bocholt companies to Winterswijk is to be organized in the near future!
Michael Wiesmann, co-organizer and contact person for mechanically manufactured Precision parts at Spaleck: “The evening was a great success for both sides! I was very positively surprised by the concrete opportunities for cooperation.” Unbelievable, but true: Michael Wiesmann received an e-mail on Thursday morning. The subject: “Enquiry”. A guest from the previous evening had told an entrepreneur friend about the evening at Spaleck…
Dat klopt!
