These processes can be used for any type of vibratory finishing. Thanks to our wide selection of abrasive media, we can offer you centrifugal vibratory finishing, drum vibratory finishing, and vibratory finishing.
Below you will find detailed product information on abrasives for vibratory finishing.
Plastic abrasive media for vibratory finishing are characterized by their gentle abrasive action and the fact that they do not produce chips. These plastic abrasive media are primarily used for vibratory finishing and Surface finishing of soft metals, such as aluminum or die-cast zinc.
Ceramic abrasives are characterized by a higher bulk density and greater abrasive action during vibratory finishing. However, depending on the material, chipping may occur. They are typically used with steel or higher-alloy steels.
Steel polishing media can be used for polishing and, due to their high weight, also for pressure deburring. They are virtually wear-free, but are relatively expensive to purchase due to the nature of the material.
Available in spherical or satellite shapes; you can choose between steel and stainless steel.
Polishing media for vibratory finishing are also made of ceramic, typically porcelain. They contain no abrasive, are highly wear-resistant, and, when used in combination with pastes and powders, produce a smooth and glossy surface during the vibratory finishing process.
By adding compounds during the wet process, you can achieve clean, brightened, and corrosion-free workpieces during vibratory finishing, depending on the application.
We process your components using a carefully selected range of environmentally friendly and sustainable materials. Our goal: to manufacture sustainably. You can find more information on this topic at www.spaleck.de/nachhaltigkeit.
