Today, anyone who has milled parts manufactured expects more than just compliance with tight tolerances. Reliable delivery dates and sufficient available production capacity are essential. The goal is to be able to carry out even short-term projects in a cost-effective manner. That is exactly why SPALECK is constantly improving its CNC manufacturing processes.
Since mid-May 2026, a POSmill H 800 U has been part of the machinery fleet at the Greiz facility. With its new 5-axis machining center, SPALECK is specifically expanding its manufacturing capacity for small and medium-sized precision milled parts. Together with the Bocholt manufacturing facility, this creates additional capacity for the cost-effective production of individual parts, prototypes, small batches, and production orders.
The investment is part of a long-term development. The goal is to consistently align our available manufacturing capacity—as a contract manufacturer —with our customers’ requirements and to make our production planning even more flexible.
In many industries, the demands placed on CNC contract manufacturers are increasing. Development cycles are getting shorter, while at the same time, demands for precision, quality, and on-time delivery are increasing. Companies therefore need a manufacturing partner that not only operates reliably but also has sufficient capacity.
With the launch of the POSmill H 800 U, SPALECK is responding specifically to this trend.
The new machine strengthens the milling capabilities at the Greiz facility and creates additional capacity for machining. Especially for complex precision milled parts, the addition of 5-axis machining allows for more flexible production planning and helps efficiently handle production peaks. For our customers, this means one thing above all else: better service and greater planning certainty.
SPALECK’s CNC contract manufacturing takes place at its facilities in Greiz and Bocholt. Both production facilities work closely together and are planned across all locations.
Projects are coordinated within the manufacturing network depending on capacity utilization and production requirements. This results in fast turnaround times and a high degree of flexibility—regardless of whether individual milled parts, small batches, or recurring production runs are being manufactured.
The new POSmill H 800 U specifically strengthens this manufacturing network. It expands milling capacity in Thuringia and creates additional opportunities to fulfill customer orders cost-effectively and on time.
Modern CNC technology is only one part of an efficient manufacturing process. Just as crucial are the employees who plan manufacturing processes, program and set up machines, and ensure quality throughout the entire manufacturing process.
Along with the expansion of the machine fleet, the team at the Greiz location was reinforced with another machining technician. For SPALECK, investments in modern manufacturing technology and skilled workers go hand in hand. Only the combination of experience, expertise, and high-performance machines lays the foundation for cost-effective and reliable CNC contract manufacturing.
“With this latest addition to our machine fleet, we are specifically responding to the increased demand for small precision-milled parts. “The additional capacity provides greater flexibility in milling operations and allows us to plan customer orders even more efficiently across our various locations,” says Sebastian Bettermann, production manager at Spaleck Präzisionstechnik GmbH & Co. KG.
For the 2026 and 2027 training years, SPALECK is offering apprenticeship positions as a machining technician (f/m/d) in both Greiz and Bocholt.
The trainees learn about the entire manufacturing process—from reading technical drawings to programming and setting up modern CNC machine tools, and on to quality control of the manufactured components. This is how the expertise that modern manufacturing needs in the long term is developed.
With its manufacturing facilities in Greiz and Bocholt, SPALECK offers CNC contract manufacturing services to companies throughout Germany. We manufacture milled parts, turned parts, and long-turned parts, as well as large-scale CNC machining of parts based on customer drawings—ranging from individual parts and prototypes to small-batch and mass production runs.
The ongoing expansion of our machinery fleet creates additional production capacity and strengthens cross-site collaboration. SPALECK is thus continuously optimizing its contract manufacturing services for customers in industries such as medical technology, general mechanical engineering, and railway technology.
